Adding the Polygon chain to Metamask is extremely simple. All you need to do is go to https://polygonscan.com and scroll to the footer. Inside the footer, there is a button to add the Polygon chain to Metamask. After clicking the button, Metamask will automatically open and prompt you to add the network.
